GAS TURBO WARRANTY POLICY

Turbo Parts Canada (TPC) Inc. -- Warranty Policy (Gas)

At Turbo Parts Canada (TPC) Inc., we uphold rigorous standards to deliver top-quality parts and services. This policy explains what’s covered, what isn’t, and how to get support—clearly and fairly.

1) Warranty Coverage

  • What’s covered: All new and rebuilt turbochargers/CHRA units are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the purchase date, regardless of mileage.

  • Who’s covered: The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase is required.

  • Remedy: At TPC’s discretion, valid claims will result in repair or replacement of the defective product. Refunds are not issued for installed or special-order items.

  • Core return (when applicable): For products sold with a core charge, the original core must be returned for inspection. If the core is not returned, or is withheld, warranty coverage may be denied because we cannot diagnose underlying causes.

2) Warranty Exclusions

The warranty is void if any of the following conditions apply:

  • Foreign Object Damage (FOD): Debris ingestion, compressor/turbine impact, or contamination.

  • Improper installation or maintenance: Incorrect oil supply or drain, clogged/dirty oil filters, use of non-approved gaskets/fittings, failure to follow provided installation guidelines, or lack of priming.

  • Misuse/abuse or operating conditions outside spec: Over-boosting, oil starvation, overheating, inadequate filtration, or improper tuning/calibration.

  • Unauthorized modification or tampering: Disassembly, machining, or repair attempts by third parties; removal/alteration of identification tags.

  • Shipping damage: Must be reported to the carrier and TPC within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and product.

Note: Racing, competition, or off-road use frequently subjects components to extreme conditions. Failures arising from such use, or from calibration outside manufacturer specifications, are not covered.

3) Customer Responsibilities

To keep your warranty valid:

  • Professional installation: Use a certified technician and follow all installation instructions.

  • Approved components: Use manufacturer-recommended oil feed/drain lines, gaskets, and fittings.

  • Maintenance: Perform oil and filter changes per vehicle specifications and use the correct grade/quality fluids.

4) Replacement & Claim Process

Step 1 — Contact us first:
Reach out to our support team for troubleshooting and a Return Authorization (RMA) before sending anything back. We may request photos, installation details, or diagnostic data/logs.

Step 2 — Return procedure:

  • Return the turbocharger as-is, including oil feed/return lines and fittings used during operation for evaluation.

  • Do not clean, modify, or attempt repairs prior to return—this will void the warranty.

  • Seal the turbo in a leak-proof bag and pack carefully to prevent transit damage.

  • Shipping costs (to and from TPC) are the customer’s responsibility.

Step 3 — Evaluation & resolution:
Once inspected, we’ll confirm eligibility. Approved claims will be repaired or replaced.

  • Expedited option: To minimize downtime, you may purchase a replacement at full cost. If your claim is approved, we will refund the purchase price of the expedited unit (less any non-warranty costs such as shipping).

Warranty continuity: Any repair or replacement does not extend the original 12-month coverage period.

5) Non-Warranty Claims

Products resold by TPC that are manufactured by third parties are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty and processes. We’ll help direct you to the appropriate support channel.

6) Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TPC is not liable for:

  • Consequential or incidental damages: Including (but not limited to) injury, death, lost profits, downtime, rental vehicles, or property damage.

  • Labor and tuning costs: Installation, removal, calibration, or diagnostic expenses.

  • Pricing errors: Orders placed at incorrect prices will be canceled and refunded, and we’ll advise the correct price.

7) Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing from or using the services of Turbo Parts Canada (TPC) Inc., you acknowledge and accept this Warranty Policy and related Terms & Conditions. This warranty provides specific rights; you may have additional rights under applicable laws. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
